TL;DR
- Six scenes, each with a real Kling 4.0 clip and the full prompt: product shot, food close-up, travel landscape, everyday moment, ambient shot with sound, and image-to-video.
- Every clip is 720p, 5 seconds, 16:9, and costs $1.10, with audio generated alongside the picture.
- Click "Generate with this prompt" under any clip and the Kling 4.0 model page opens with the same prompt filled in. New accounts get 200 free credits.
1. Product shot for ecommerce
Product shot of a glass perfume bottle on wet black stone, a single drop of water falls and splashes beside it, slow orbit around the bottle, soft studio rim light, crisp water drip sound
kling-4.0/text-to-video, 16:9, 720p, 5 seconds, $1.10.
One subject, one small action (the drop) and one camera move (the orbit) are enough for a product shot. End with the sound you want, and the audio track is generated with it.
2. Food close-up
Top-down close-up of a bowl of ramen, chopsticks lift a tangle of noodles out of the steaming broth, broth drips back into the bowl, camera locked off, gentle slurp and broth simmering
kling-4.0/text-to-video, 16:9, 720p, 5 seconds, $1.10.
"Camera locked off" keeps the frame still so the motion stays on the chopsticks and noodles. The prompt never mentions the pork slice, soft egg or scallions; the model added them. If the toppings matter, list each one.
3. Travel landscape
Ultra-wide shot of a camel caravan crossing tall orange dunes at sunset, long shadows stretching across the sand, wind lifting fine sand off the ridgeline, slow pan from left to right, soft wind and distant camel bells
kling-4.0/text-to-video, 16:9, 720p, 5 seconds, $1.10.
Landscapes live on light and time of day ("sunset", "long shadows") plus one slow camera move. Put the ambient sound last; the clip ships with its own audio track, so there is no separate ambience to source.
4. Everyday moment
Two friends laugh at a night market food stall, one hands the other a grilled skewer, smoke and steam rising from the grill under warm string lights, handheld medium shot, sizzling grill and lively crowd chatter
kling-4.0/text-to-video, 16:9, 720p, 5 seconds, $1.10.
For people, say who does what to whom ("one hands the other"). Here the hand-off plays out in full. The same prompt on Kling 3.0 is in Kling 4.0 vs Kling 3.0.
5. Ambient shot with sound
An old steam train pulls slowly out of a mountain station at dawn, thick white steam billowing into low golden sunlight, pine forest on both sides, slow lateral tracking shot, cinematic depth of field, natural engine rumble and distant birdsong
kling-4.0/text-to-video model page example, 16:9, 720p, 5 seconds, $1.10.
Write the sound last as one main source plus one distant accent: engine rumble, then birdsong. The same prompt at 1080p is in Kling 4.0 API pricing.
6. Image-to-video: bring a photo to life
First frame:

Result:
The small boat drifts forward across the calm water, gentle ripples spreading from the bow, mist slowly rolling over the surface, camera follows from behind, soft lapping water and a distant bird call
Generate with this prompt → (upload your own first frame on the image-to-video model page)
kling-4.0/image-to-video, 720p, 5 seconds, $1.10.
The first frame already fixes the composition, so the prompt only describes motion: where the boat goes, how water and mist change, how the camera follows, and what you hear.
How to write Kling 4.0 prompts
- Subject + action + setting. One sentence on who is where doing what. The more specific the action, the better.
- Light + camera. Time of day and light ("dawn", "sunset", "rim light"), then one move ("tracking", "orbit", "push-in", "locked off").
- Sound last. One main source and one distant accent, such as "engine rumble and distant birdsong".
