How does HiAPI pricing work?
Pay-as-you-go credits: every model draws from one shared credit balance, you only pay for what you use, with no subscription and no minimum spend. Images are billed per image, video per second, music per song, and text per token. The price table stays in sync with each model's official pricing.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. New accounts receive 200 free starter credits, enough to run real tasks before deciding whether to top up. The site also offers daily free image generation tools for zero-cost tryouts.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits from every top-up package never expire. Your unused balance stays in your account indefinitely.
How are video models billed?
By generated duration (per second), tiered by output resolution: 480p is the cheapest tier and 4K the most expensive. Each model's live per-tier rates are shown in the price table below and on the model detail page.
Which models are available?
Over 100 models across image, video, music, and text, covering major families like GPT, Claude, Gemini, Seedance, and FLUX, all callable with a single API key. Browse the full list in the model market.
Do failed or rejected generations cost credits?
No. HiAPI only charges for tasks that return a result. Failed generations and rejected moderation reviews cost nothing. Check the individual model page for model-specific refund rules.
Are my prompts and generated content used to train models?
No. Prompts, images, videos, and other inputs you submit through HiAPI, along with the generated results, are used only to fulfill the request and are never used to train any model. See the privacy policy page for full terms.
I'm using the OpenAI / Anthropic API today. How much code changes to migrate?
Very little. HiAPI is compatible with the OpenAI API request format. In most cases you only point base_url at HiAPI's API address and swap in your HiAPI API key; existing SDK code and request bodies work as-is. The docs site has a quick-start guide.
