FASHN Try-On v1.6 API Pricing: $0.1072 per Image

The per-image price, credit conversion, what $10 and $25 buy, and how it lines up with Google Virtual Try-On on HiAPI.

FASHN Try-On v1.6 costs $0.1072 per image on HiAPI, or 214.4 credits. One try-on is one combination of a person photo and a garment photo: you upload both, and the bill counts output images rather than parameters.

FASHN Try-On v1.6 is live on HiAPI. Open the model page, upload two images and generate; new accounts get 200 credits on sign-up.

How much does one image cost?

ImagesCreditsUSD
1214.4$0.1072
102,144$1.072
10021,440$10.72
1,000214,400$107.2
10,0002,144,000$1,072

Credits convert at 2,000 per $1. The per-image figure holds at every volume. Billing is per successful image: each request returns one try-on, and failed tasks refund the reserved amount in full.

What that $0.1072 buys is one garment replacement. Background, hair and accessories stay as they are; the clothes on the person change to the garment you uploaded. Two images in, one image out, and the bill does not depend on how many inputs you send or how large they are.

One habit worth building into the first run: generate once in performance mode to check where the person sits in frame and how the garment lands, then switch to quality for the final image. All three modes share one price, so the extra pass buys time rather than a larger bill.

What does a budget buy?

BudgetImages
$1about 9.3
$10about 93
$25about 233

Cost scales linearly. There is no setup fee and no monthly minimum. $10 covers roughly 93 images, enough for a small apparel shop to run several dozen tops and bottoms across a season. $25 covers about 233, enough for a full seasonal hero-image refresh.

Plan by style rather than by day: six model photos per garment is six images, so twenty styles is 120. Multiply styles by models, then compare the total with the budget table above.

The 200 sign-up credits are worth $0.10, or 0.93 of an image — not enough for one try-on. The first image needs a top-up, and $10 buys a budget of about 93.

What costs extra?

  • Quality mode. performance, balanced and quality all bill $0.1072 per image.
  • Volume. One image per request, with no batch discount and no batch surcharge. A hundred images is a hundred requests at the same rate.
  • Failures. Not charged; the reservation is refunded in full.
  • Every other input. category, garment_photo_type, moderation_level, seed, segmentation_free and output_format are covered by the per-image price.
  • Resolution. Output follows the person photo with the long edge capped at 1296: a 1086×1448 portrait returns 972×1296, a 768×1152 portrait returns 768×1152, and both cost $0.1072.

How does it compare with the other try-on model on HiAPI?

ModelPriceCreditsImages per request
FASHN Try-On v1.6$0.1072214.41
Google Virtual Try-On$0.10752151

A gap of $0.0003 per image — the same price band at any volume. The decision comes down to parameter control, not cost.

FASHN breaks the try-on into adjustable settings: category (tops, bottoms, one-pieces or auto), three quality modes, garment_photo_type for model shots versus flat-lay product shots, three moderation levels, a seed for reproducing a result, and segmentation_free for body parsing. Google Virtual Try-On takes a person image and a product image and returns output at the person image's original pixel size. FASHN output follows the person photo with the long edge capped at 1296, so the same 1086×1448 portrait comes back at 972×1296.

Choose FASHN when you need to name the garment category, reproduce an exact result with a fixed seed, or feed flat-lay product shots directly. Choose Google Virtual Try-On when the output has to keep the person photo's exact pixel dimensions. The side-by-side frames are in FASHN Try-On v1.6 vs Google Virtual Try-On.
